Contribuiți la feedbackFun and funky place for BBQ if you're in the Mt. Hood area. Large outdoor patio with a stage for live music and an extra bar. Texas style BBQ made in their own smoker. We ordered the sampler with the mac and cheese and beans on our waitress'recommendation. Everything was very tasty. The beans were unique with red kidney beans with more of a chili based sauce, thanthe usual sweeter baked beans. We enjoyed local Oregon beers with our meal before touring the unique interior at the hostess'suggestion.
What a fantastic and unique spot! It's very vegetarian-friendly, with the BBQ tofu being a standout dish. The atmosphere feels like you’ve stepped into a whimsical 1950s magic house. The staff is incredibly friendly as well. The only downside is that there’s no cell signal here, and they don’t offer Wi-Fi.
The atmosphere of this restaurant was truly incredible. There were so many unique things to see and areas to explore. The food was fantastic, and the service was exceptional! It would be the perfect spot to relax on a cool summer evening, as the outdoor seating appeared cozy and welcoming. It's clear this place is quite popular, as it quickly filled up with customers right after opening. This is definitely a must-visit destination for lunch, dinner, or just to enjoy a few beers.
I usually hand out a lot of five-star ratings, but this restaurant truly deserves it. I can't emphasize that enough—the food and drinks were outstanding. I tried the small Moroccan coffee, the brisket was incredible, and I also had a cup of mac and cheese. The cheese for the mac and cheese was all from Tillamook, and the brisket was fantastic! Definitely try all the sauces for just a dollar. I'm not sure what the other reviews were referencing, but I found the service to be excellent.
If you're in the Mt. Hood area, this fun and quirky BBQ spot is definitely worth a visit. They have a spacious outdoor patio that features a stage for live music and an additional bar. Their BBQ is Texas-style, smoked right on the premises. We followed our waitress's recommendation and ordered the sampler, accompanied by mac and cheese and beans. Everything was delicious! The beans stood out with red kidney beans served in a chili-like sauce rather than the usual sweet baked beans. We paired our meal with some local Oregon beers, and afterwards, we took a tour of the unique interior, as suggested by the hostess.
