Barlow Trail Roadhouse - Rhododendron

The meatloaf I ordered was hard, unappetizing, and lacked flavor—it felt like it had been sitting out for quite some time. The blue cheese bacon burger arrived lukewarm and was, at best, mediocre. I understand the establishment is old, but unfortunately, it also felt stale. The table was sticky, and the staff tended to cluster together, chatting instead of attending to patrons. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience, and I cannot recommend this restaurant.

I enjoyed a fantastic strawberry milkshake here, and their french fries are also excellent.

We've visited this restaurant twice—once for breakfast and again for dinner. On this occasion, we enjoyed our meal on the patio with our dogs. The food was tasty, and the service was excellent. The staff did a great job of keeping us informed about their availability and wait times, considering they were short-staffed that day. We will definitely return!

Want to dine in a historic log cabin built in 1926 just at the foot of Mount Hood? If so this is the place for you. While it may not seem fancy on the outside, you?ll be surprised by the warm log cabin feeling inside. Food was great and our server Alley wasawesome. She listened to some of our stories and she had some good ones too. She really made us feel at home as we had beentraveling a long time that day. And again great food. My wife had the fish and chips and I had the French Dip sandwich bothwere excellent!
