The vegetables were crispy, and the sauce had a more savory brownish tone rather than being overly sweet. I went for the Panda 88 combination special, which included chicken, beef, and shrimp in a slightly spicy brown sauce. I really enjoyed it! The hot and sour soup was flavorful, and the pot stickers were cooked perfectly, with a nice crispness around the edges. The filling was delightful, and at $2.99 for six, they were a great value. Our egg rolls were also well-prepared and tasty. We definitely plan to return to explore more of the menu options.
A late weekend for lunch. A quite expensive Asian restaurant (sold together Chinese-American dishes) with decent dishes. Lunch entrées run about $7 per. General's chicken had a good taste. It was free from vegetables that might disturb some people and others. Portion was fair. A few of the pieces of chicken had a bit of a warmed over taste hint that they were precooked. The bread on the chicken was not excessively thick and had a nice cripple. General 's Chicken is usually a spicy dish and her menu also notices it as such. While it certainly had more kick than other dishes I certainly had 't label it hot or spicy. It's a pretty mild heat. Crab Rangoon were actually Cream Cheese Rangoon. There was no crab or art crab at all. This is quite common with cheaper Asian restaurants. I don't even have an eye on it. But I wish they would call them what they actually are. The free egg roll was not very good. I doubt they're rolling them here. The vegetables on the inside had a mushiness for them, which would create only freezing and thawing as a rule. They also tasted. Certainly some of my least favorite roles in the Omaha area. Service was friendly. You order at the counter and then bring your food to you. When you're done, leave your plates on the table and clean them after you. Restaurant décor doesn't give me the impression that this was always an Asian restaurant. Looks like there was something else here first, and then they changed it to meet their needs. It is clean and well maintained. No dirty restaurant here. It is not connected to Hiro 88, Salt 88 or Pana 88. You also have a drive.
Panda 88. I stopped in for a quick dinner and was happy with the food and service. The place is clean and like new. What I can't figure oit is why I was the only person dining in at 6:00 pm. Where is everyone? This is a good choice with much higher quality than you will find at any Chinese buffet.
Good, Fresh Chinese Food. Just tried this place for the first time. Staff were very friendly, food was very good. Panda 88 beef entrée had a good variety of veggies, crab rangoon and hot sour soup were both hot and fresh, good flavors. Definitely going back, I'd recommend this place to a friend.
The bathroom was a pleasant surprise—don’t underestimate the importance of a good restroom! It’s a place that stands out for sure. You might feel a little out of place at first, but trust me, it’s worth stopping by. They even have a Jigglypuff-themed decoration that grabs your attention! Honestly, it’s a unique spot, and I can say I wish my mom could experience it. I mean, it evokes some serious nostalgia, just like how a Jigglypuff would make you think deeply. There’s an interesting blend of uniqueness and credibility here; it just leaves you wanting more. By the way, I've had a dream recently featuring Snorlax as a character in Super Smash Bros Melee on the Nintendo Xbox. His mechanics were just like Jigglypuff's but even bigger and stronger. I might not have done much all day, but thinking about this place definitely sparked some joy. Oh, and they offer Pibb here, which definitely earns them an extra half star from me! I’ve got to shout out to the Pibb family!
