El Pueblo - Portage

So last night we went to the recommendation of my nurses from St. Catherine's. OMG we were just in love. My Hubby had the Parrillada....as much food for only $16.99, it is every meat they serve, grilled to perfection with vegetables and all sorts of stuff. It's a huge meal that he's at the moment going back to breakfast. I had crushed this dish with steak and bacon, paprika and onions all in cheese. Absolutely amazing, was just so delicious. Top-up all the great food was our big server Alex. I'm sure we'll be back by.

Got here Monday for my birthday party and everything was very good! We had a table of 10 and Maria the server was there every step of the way with the most amazing service! Some of my cousins really had their heads! I always had a great meal here and this time was no different. All my family members commented how good their food was. Some have never been there and others love it like me. Some had the steak tacos, one had shrimps Fajitas, another had divided Tostadas and 4 of the paridilla, which is really good! It did not hurt that Margaritas were bought, 1 1/2 of them also! Bonus! Oh and my fried ice birthday Dessert was Deliciois!!! Love this place and cannot wait to go back! Thank you for a great family dinner!

This place consistently impresses us. The people are friendly and the food is great!

I always get the Jalisco, it's so good. I'd say this place has something better than La Caretta, but not always better drinks. It's quite comparable.

We celebrated our friend's 70th birthday there, and we were allowed to decorate the place and bring our own cake. The waitress was fantastic—even joining us in singing! The food was delicious and plentiful. We enjoyed every moment!
