Tandoori Kitchen Indian Restaurant

The Decore was old and dated but the service was good. The food was very good with staff friendly and courteous. We would eat there again

Ordered take away from here as the menu sounded great.Unfortunately we were very disappointed. Watery sauces, not a lot of meat in one dish, the naan bread was undercooked and had no hint of garlic. We ordered vindaloo and requested as hot as possible - it was only mild! We won't eat here again and have had much better elsewhere is town. We don't usually complain but this left us very disappointed and unfortunately worth a bad review.

The naan we had was warm and crispy.The price is also decent.The butter chicken was sweet and not spicy.I highly recommend you give the restaurant a try as it is the best Indian restaurant in that area

Now don't be put off by the establishments decor, it may look a little dodgy but the food is very nice. We skipped by it last year because of the look of it.I left my phone at home last night hence no pictures.1. Four of us ordered the sample entree tray. we misread the menu, we thought we would get a piece of each type of food on the plate between 4 people.. So each person would get 4 pieces (16) each but it was one each (4) . so double check prior to ordering.We ordered:- butterchicken (very good)- Lamb korma not authentic but (very nice) however they need to slow cook longer for meat to be tender.- Beef vindaloo very nice had bit of warmth- the cheese nann was absolutely best nann Ive had in years!!- bought bottle of wine(which they upgraded for same price because they ran out of the one we ordered )For port mac, (a small town) this is the best indian restaurant in town.( heaps better than the other indian restaurant which I rated ffom my last trip review as terrible)Now i can critique with fairness because my family owned award winning indian restaurants and we employed internationally renowned chefs in brisbane.The food was great and the lady was so friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the food!Go in with low expectations and dont expect the style or flavour you would get from your favourite indian joint back home And im sure you will enjoy it too!PS: I gave them 5 stars because of overall experience.

Nice naan bread but that was the end of it. Poor service. Poor kitchen hygiene (cook had a large beard with ripped hair net attempting to hold it in ). Terrible curry. Wasn't really even a curry but rather a bizzare watery slightly sweet stew. Very strange.
