Wildwood - Plymouth

Absolutely brilliant. We enjoyed a lovely meal for six people. I can't eat certain cheeses so they very kindly created me a delicious pizza with goats cheese and blue cheese absolutely delicious!!!... The staff were very attentive and friendly. Can't fault anything, will definitely recommend.

What can I say! Great food, great ambience, great staff. So relaxing for a friendly night out. The staff were attentive without being pushy and give us all the space we needed to enjoy our meal. Can I say special thanks to Ciaran for his outstanding customer service skills and attention to detail.

A Sunday evening and trying to dodge heavy showers. We checked online and wildwood was a 6 minute stroll from the crowne plaza. The earliest time we could online book a table was 8pm. We arrived at the restaurant at 7.50pm, to find only two other tables occupied. A bit strange the online booking could not have offered us an earlier time. Anyway, we received a warm welcome and took a table on the window area. The staff were helpful and friendly, and willingly made suggestions. I had a chicken and mushroom pasta, and my friend had the lasagne al forno both staple Italian comfort food meals. And yes both were extremely tasty and a good portion size. Meal and drink prices were on par with other chain Italian restaurants. We enjoyed our meal and if in the area again, we would eat here. A tiny gripe. This is the West Country home of cider. Please stock a low/non alcoholic cider

Needed a nice quick stop off before watching a show at the TRP as the original place we had booked was ten minutes away. With the rain lashing down and no umbrella this seemed a good closer stop off instead. Nice welcome and a nice setting, quiet when we arrived and we were seated straight away at 5pm Lucky we got in when we did as it got busy pretty quickly over the next hour with more Saturday theatre revellers. Stacey had the carbonara with chorizo which she enjoyed and I the classic burger with fries which I must say was really nice. Orders came out within g ten minutes too. We would definitely come here again. Only pointer for any Wildwood people reading this, the tip percentage added to the bill which you can asked to be removed, we never paid and should be an individual staff member option. Nothing to do with service or the smile, it’s rather we are traditionalists and would rather pay an individual tip to one specific member of staff who has been great all night. We saw a number of people instead. Once more, we are not great lovers of tips being shared as a whole, however everyone we saw was friendly and helpful. Great food though and would recommend to friends.

Service Was Good. : Food Was Nice 1 meal with 1 non alcoholic drink was almost £30 though so on the expensive side.
