Authentic Ethio African - Phoenix

This restaurant is amazing. I tried the four piece sampler and it was all delicious. It's also very affordable. Two of us were completely full for only $14. I think everything on the menu is great, so don't hesitate to try something new.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The server was friendly and helpful, and I loved the atmosphere. My partner and I tried the vegetarian sampler, which came with four side dishes. It was a generous amount of food and everything was delicious. The prices are reasonable and it's a perfect place for sharing. We will definitely be returning.

I visited this restaurant a few years ago when it was quite small, so I was thrilled to see the expanded and spacious new venue! The décor was beautiful, with raw Madagascan wood paneling, hand-carved chairs, and creative lighting that set a lovely ambiance. The Ethiopian music playing at the perfect volume added to the experience. I ordered a platter with two entrees - Gomen and Shiro Wot - and a Sambusa appetizer for a quick lunch. Although I found the hot sauce a bit tart, it was plenty spicy, and the Sambusa was delicately tasty. The large, ornate platter was a work of art, complete with injera and a salad of greens, tomato, and onion. The restaurant provided hand sanitizer on every table, which I appreciated as I enjoyed eating with my fingers. My husband and I love coming here for a tasty vegan lunch that does not break the bank. All of the vegetarian samplers are vegan. My husband and I got the sampler for two and with a 20% tip, we only paid $20.86 for a healthy and filling lunch. 10/10 recommend eating here
