This place is very appreciated by many Chinese people leaving in Paris who I know, and I also brought there several colleagues from China who all ranked their meal five-stars. The food is excellent, tasty, well cooked and of course very spicy, as could be expected from Sichuan cuisine. This is why I really like this place. In general, it is however better to be careful with the spices: there are options to dose the hotness. I recommend any of the noodle soups in which one can add some meat (spicy beef, pork, chicken, eggs, etc. . The service is OK and quite fast. The price is also very reasonable for the area (10-15 EUR for a lunch . In general, it is better to be there straight at the opening (i.e. 12:00 PM as the restaurant is really small, with extremely limited sitting capabilities (15-20 seats maximum . Note that one usually ends up sharing the table with other customers if this is the only option to get a seat (I personally do not mind but some customers may .
Very nice place to eat typical Sichuan spicy noodles and soups. They have also added a pastry shop just in front!
If you like the Sichaun style spicy noodle, the kind that will make your tongue numb, I think you will like it here. I have ordered a big bowl with two toppings, but I think a small bowl would be about right for me (and I eat quite a lot! . The place is pretty small and crowded, so it might not be suitable for a big group.
First time visit, fast chongqing noodles and delicious. Small restaurant with limit seats, you may have to share the table with other guests. If you don’t mind, you can go there and try. Good quality food with reasonable price. Various taste cake rolls, you may also try it.
Chanced upon this great little place as it 's round the corner from one of Paris ' best indie cinemas, 'Le Grand Action '. If spicy food is your thing, this is the place to go, but be warned because it you ask for even the medium spicy bowl I guarantee your socks will fly off. I wonder what happens if you dare try a bowl with a higher spice quotient flames on the side of your face I imagine. Anyway, heeding the waitress ' sage advice we went for the low and no spice options. The 'no ' was fairly hot for a moderate tongue and the 'low ' gave me the sweats, in a good way mind. The dumplings were delicious, the broth with just the right amount of oil, the extra minced pork worth the surcharge... I 'm definitely going back to this place. Very good sichuan pore cleansing realness. A quirky touch is that the napkins are little packets of pocket tissues. Very handy! Place gets busy so book/queue/time accordingly...
