Bear Brewpub - Orono

I really enjoy the unique and interesting pizza options at this pizzeria. One of my favorites is The County—who knew potatoes on pizza could be so good? They offer delicious food, a fantastic selection of beer, and the staff is really friendly. Unfortunately, I live over two hours away, but I make it a point to stop by whenever I'm in the area!

If you're in the area and craving hearty wings, burgers, and appetizers, this is the spot for you! They also serve large oven-baked pizzas. You'll find a variety of beers and unique drink specials to choose from. The friendly staff will ensure you have a great experience.

I had a fantastic dining experience! We ordered a large pizza that was definitely enough for three people, costing a little over $30, which included a generous tip. The wood-fired pizza oven produced excellent, well-prepared pub food, and I believe they have the best wings in the area. They also offer daily specials and unique pizza combinations, including one named after our northernmost county. Having served at Loring AFB, I can vouch that their county truly represents the best! I’m giving Bear Brew Pub a full five slices!

Large beer selection and great menu. I would definitely recommend the pizzas because there are some unconventional specialty options that you just can't find anywhere else in the area.

If you love craft beer, and I don 't, then this is the place for you. I didn 't sample the food, I only had a half of a beer with a friend because I wanted to be social and then couldn 't finish the beer because I don 't like beer. However, many years ago I got drunk here and found the food to be of surpassing quality. Now that it has changed hands from former owner Matt Matty Haskell, it will no doubt be better.
