Excellent food, friendly staff, and reasonable prices at this takeout oriented Persian restaurant inside a gas station. Go for the lamb shank, you will not be disappointed!

I was having a bad day. Car broke down in the middle of the street, and I took it to the repair shop next door. I wandered into Rumi Kitchen just to check out the menu, and the two men running it were so nice to me. They gifted me a complimentary rice pudding, and it was SO GOOD. They called me their guest. They didn't even know my car broke down! They definitely made my day. : I'll be definitely coming back! Btw don't be perturbed by the fact that since it's in a gas station. It's very clean and the food is restaurant quality.

Eating here is so good! I have never expected that I will find delicious Afghan food in a gas station. I know it sounds strange, but you have to give them a chance! I'm so glad I did. everything is good here! They have a fully equipped kitchen and also sell baked. I loved the mantu, sweet soup, auberginen, chapli kabob and brown rice. also the reispudding and the fresh chocolate chips were so good.

One order from Rumi and it immediately became one of my go to spots! The Lamb Gyro was that good. Perfectly textured soft pita, with a bit of crisp from the grill, piled full with tender and flavorful lamb the stars of the show. The supporting players were perfectly sliced thin strips of grilled onion and peppers, and slightly larger slices of cucumber, along with lettuce and tomato, of course. The spicy relish like seasoning was outstanding. I haven't had anything quite like it. You definitely don't want to miss it. And the yogurt sauce was the perfect contrapuntal accent. I've gotta give Rumi props. They make a gourmet 10 Gyro! It seems that this is a Persian place that makes all kinds of fantastic Middle Eastern and Mediterranean food. I can't wait to explore the menu. I also want to visit sometime just because it's not far from me. I even take my car for a smog test at the gas station every other year but had no idea that a great restaurant was opening up on site. My DoorDash order came very quickly. 15 minutes from when I clicked to place my order to having the food dropped off at my door. Amazeballs!

Portion sizes are huge, lamb gyro is delicious and a great deal for 10. Not overly seasoned or salty. Yellow sweet rice dessert is good and not too sweet. Order inside the gas station, they're very fast.
