Picnic Cafe - Newport

Cute little place in the neighborhood. Food was definitely delicious, quick service. Ordered an egg sandwich and avocado toast.

The chocolate croissant at this restaurant was amazing. It was beautifully presented and had the perfect amount of chocolate.

I ordered two scrambled eggs on white toast, but they came on an everything bagel instead. The cashier also got my order wrong, only giving me one egg instead of two. The bread was supposed to be artisan but looked and tasted like Pepperidge Farm country white. The price was high at $8.50, especially for a vacation destination. I usually don't leave negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing. Additionally, the woman in charge shushed me during my visit.

The pastries were impressive, but unfortunately, the older Caucasian female ruined the entire experience with her extreme rudeness. Because of her, we have no plans to return. Everyone else was very pleasant, but her behavior was a major disappointment.

I will NEVER eat here or recommend it to ANYONE. The rudest, nastiest, people I have ever encountered working at a restaurant in my life. I have never been so disrespected. Screaming at customers is no way to run a business.
