Chapper's Pub - Negaunee

We rented the upstairs apartment for a few days. While it was clean and modern, the stairs leading up to the apartment were dirty and in need of repair. Some rubber strips had come off, leaving nails exposed. Additionally, several screws on the railing were loose, and there was dirt and hair scattered on the stairs. There was also a snow shovel and a bag of salt inside the door, which was quite unexpected for July.

There aren’t a lot of tap choices and they don’t really have entertainment that often. We have a drink here every once in awhile but the bar looks like it pretty outdated. Seems like they don’t care to draw new customers here or keep them. They need to do some updating and have some bands play to draw customers here. Very dark and old run down bar.

The staff is consistently friendly, the prices are reasonable, and the outdoor patio with the fire pit is a lovely feature.

The atmosphere is fantastic, the people are friendly, and the DJ is excellent!

The burgers are fantastic, and the beers are always served cold, just like the weather outside!
