Athens Family Restaurant - Nashville

I always enjoy my monthly meal (I always eat there, while in the city for the flea market) in Athens. The lamb is always tasty and they have the best spinach cake where, Another plus is the waiting staff with my regular server, donte, a friendly and competent person.

Athens is a family restaurant in our neighborhood. My wife and I have been going there since their opening. They have continued to make great updates and changes through the years and have always received great food and service. It was our pleasure to have them so close to us and to always eat a consistent place and enjoy their food and even some family traditions.

I've been past this place for years and I'm finally back about a month ago. I was now several times, dinner and lunch and every time the service is good (they help me to speak some of the things on the menu! and are friendly. If you want "fast food", this is not for you; it will take some time as things are cooked to order, but that is why I like it: fresh food, not sitting under a heat lamp. I look forward to my next visit!

Great place to eat!!!! The people who run it delivered great service! We ordered the sampler plate with hummus cheese and something I can't remember Lol, but it was delicious! I love hummus. I ordered the lambburger and had it cooked medium and it was delicious! I loved her fries too! Very crisp!

Love all of their food, especially the lemon chicken soup and the grape leaves. Yum!
