Dubrown - Nantes

My wife and I are Americans (she's French-born) and are honeymooning in France spending part of our time in the Loire Valley.

Burgers are great. Service is long though. They have Brooklyn lager sometimes and that is far better than the usual Heineken crappy brew.

Definitely the best burgers in Nantes. Original recipes, great products.. And the fries.. the fries are now my best fries forever!

Just looking for a quick reasonable dinner and wondered in to Dubrown. We we a bit reluctant at first because there was only inside seating as the outside was all full up. Not surprised a bit as the food was so good, fantastic even! Well the music was a bit too loud, the clientele were all much younger than us, and they don't provide cutlery - so, maybe we're getting old for this but it was worth it! We had 2 burgers, fries, coleslaw, a glass of wine and a Coke. Total €33.40 - worth every penny. The hamburgers on the menu were varied and interesting. Ours were perfectly done and delicious. There were desserts on offer (I think they came with cutlery too!) but we were full up. Strongly recommend it.

The place is nice and cosy, burgers are really good (tuna, beef, chicken...) and the fries are homemade. You can have Brooklyn beer or rootbeer to wash it down. Waiters are lovely (Vince is a doll :-) ) I've been a few times already and I love it there!
