We are enthusiastic Bethany Beach vacationers who love to pick crabs. On my man's first visit to the Outer Banks, he was thrilled with the amount of meat in the steamed crabs and enjoyed the cornbread. We found the market price for a dozen crabs to be reasonable, and it was plenty for two people. We ordered from Whalebone's twice. They also sell paper, mallets, and crackers in case your rental or hotel does not provide them. A pro tip: be sure to call early in the day to reserve your steamed crabs. We tried calling on Sunday morning in the afternoon and they were already sold out for the day.

The restaurant offers a delicious selection of large steamed seasoned shrimp and steamed snow crab legs. However, don't miss out on trying their frozen crab pies that you can cook yourself - they were really delicious!

Every year on vacation my family buys a bush of cocks and enjoys. we have tried a seafood market that we have never tried. we were blown away from the courtesy of the staff and the quality of the cocks we received. highly recommended for those who are in the obx on the look for fresh seafood.
