West End Townsville

I had battered fish chips and salad. One mouth full of fish and I had to spit it out. The batter was sour and it was advertised as barra but I dont think it was. The salad bar was pathetic. When I said aboutthe fish. There was nothing from the chef or anyone else for that matter. I wont be going again Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Very disappointing. Had to ask for bread rolls, baked potatoes in the salad bar not at all fresh, same with the broccoli and cauliflower dry and looks like could have been from dinner the previous day. Staff really couldn't care. Disappointing given past visits have been exceptional. Price per person: A$40–60 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I do enjoy a good Aussie pub, and to find a nicely presented premises in the heart of Townsville is quite a treat!, as usual I arrived late, but was greeted with friendly welcoming service in a very calm atmosphere, food and service were excellent and combined with a great bar, restaurant and beer garden this venue is highly recommended for all .. Price per person: A$80–100
