We had prebooked and were greeted with a friendly welcome by the Thai women.Summeries service and menu compares favourably with the good Thai restaurants in Melbourne and the wines are reasonably priced.Our food selections were excellent and delivered in good time.If you enjoy Thai cuisine we can recommend Summeries restaurant in Townsville CBD.

Thursday night in Townsville, late night shopping....hmm! not in Townsville. City is pretty dead compared to Sydney at this hour.Driving around the city looking for a place to have dinner. Notice quite a few Thai restaurants, surprisingly, but was recommended by our son, who is studying in Townsville, this place. The town might be dead but the food is fabulous. The roast duck curry was very tasty. Price, slightly more expensive than Sydney. Like the ambience of the restaurant. Food came very quickly but given there were only a few tables, would have been disappointed if otherwise. Recommended if you're in Townsville and urging for Thai. In the city and easy to find.

Pretty difficult to form an opinion based on one meal but we were there to pick up a meal for my teenage daughter. The woman taking the order almost insisted that we choose her recommendation as my daughter was indecisive. Against my better judgement we listened and the result was a very average Thai dish that took forever to make.The restaurant did seem popular though and we might give this a second chance when we're back in Townsville.

The most delicious food and lovely attentive service. The menu is great and very family friendly. Visited with a 3 year old and 6 year old and there were lots of options for them. We will absolutely be back again.
