The Strand Souvlaki Bar - NORTH WARD

The food at this restaurant was delicious. We opted for takeout and were impressed by the young boy who took our order. I highly recommend this place. It was Good Friday, so we had to wait a bit for our food, but that was understandable as not many places were open. The only downside was a surcharge added to the order due to the public holiday, which was a bit disappointing. However, other than that, our experience was great.

This restaurant is always one of my favorites, with consistently fresh food. I particularly love the Souvlaki Pack, which is a great value at around $16.

Friendly service, excellent food! Honey Puffs and a traditional Greek coffee are a must! Something for everyone! Does get busy but so worth it!

Best food in the area. Was probably best lamb plate I've had. I recommend the open plate lamb yiros, will leave anyone satisfied. Extra points for being open between 2-5pm as most places close here in Townsville.
