Roots Burger - Muncie

This was my first time coming here. It was a decent atmosphere. For a Saturday after 8:30 p.m. it wasn't very busy. We waited about 2 or 3 minutes for a table. The Host was nice and cheery. The server was great she was training another person and that went really well. We had onion rings for an appetizer which were really good and put together. All four of us had a special Burger. And also tater tots for an extra side. Pretty pricey for the four of us to eat, $81. Not counting the tip. Being a place on a campus you would expect a little bit lower prices for students. I am not a student I am a mom of a student who has to pay. Overall a good atmosphere and good food.

Good burger and well seasoned fries! Service was fast and friendly and the drinks were excellent. It also wasn't too loud and we loved how many different sports were playing in the bar.

The customer service was excellent, and the price for the cheeseburger was great. I tried the milkshake, and it was unforgettable. I really enjoyed my dining experience here.

The service was attentive and prompt. We appreciated being able to dine outdoors, so we were pleased to find a table on the patio. Although the patio is small and lacks a remarkable view, we enjoyed the atmosphere. Our server provided us with great recommendations. I ordered the Hoosier burger, while my boyfriend chose a burger topped with horseradish sauce. My burger was delicious, but his was quite messy. The horseradish sauce was mild and lacked flavor, and there was something in his burger that made it watery, creating a significant puddle on the plate. He had to hold his burger carefully to prevent it from falling apart. On the bright side, both the fries and the tater tots were perfectly crispy.

For my meal, I eventually settled on the Southern Pride burger (double), which was bursting with flavor in every bite. My wife ordered the Buffalo chicken tenders served with ranch dressing, and she couldn't help but mention how high-quality the ranch was, which made us chuckle. We’ll definitely be returning the next time we're in town, as there are many other sandwiches on the menu that I’m eager to try!
