El Adobe - Mount Morris

My niece and I stumbled upon this restaurant after an appointment, and we were pleasantly surprised! We had a delicious lunch at a great price, complete with plenty of tasty food and excellent salsa and chips. We can’t wait to return and try more items from the menu!

It's disappointing to have to write this review, especially because the food is absolutely fantastic. On two occasions, including today, we called after paying our bill for takeout because we noticed we were charged incorrectly according to the prices listed on their website. I thought that after the first incident, they would address the pricing discrepancies, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. They refused to refund us the overcharged amount and offered no compensation. It's unfortunate because, due to this experience, they've lost very loyal customers.

El Portreros and their staff excel in every aspect of the dining experience. The food is absolutely delicious, and I've become a regular visitor. Their chicken soft tacos are my favorite—they're the best I've ever had!

I had a very disappointing experience due to the poor customer service. It seemed like forgetting a part of my meal, specifically the tortillas, was treated as if it were no big deal. I mean, how am I supposed to put everything else in? The free chips that came with our two meals were essentially tossed at me, which was very disrespectful. We also ordered a medium queso, which includes chips, so those weren't free either. While the tortillas were only a dollar, that’s not the point—I shouldn't have to feel this way after spending around $100 per week between my parents, my boyfriend, and myself. You’re really missing out on our business now, so congratulations on that! As for the soda you offered as compensation for the inconvenience, I'd rather pass.
