We visited Second Cup for coffee and pastries. The coffee was satisfying, with a rich flavor that wasn't too strong. However, the pastries were disappointing. My wife tried a pastry cake that lacked flavor and had a dense, sawdust-like texture. I ordered a pumpkin turnover, but was unimpressed with the lack of filling and abundance of air in the crust. We will return for the coffee, but will skip the baked goods next time.

We had the white chocolate raspberry frappe at a different location and enjoyed it so much that we decided to try it again at this restaurant while we were here. It was just as delicious as the previous one. We will definitely be returning.

Every time I visited this restaurant, it was consistently awful! The cheesecakes were dry and hard, making me wonder how long they had been sitting there. Additionally, my drinks were always incorrect, such as an incorrectly made egg-nog latte that ended up tasting like a mix of an omelette and espresso.

We tried Second Cup for a coffee and pastry. The coffee was rich and not too strong. We loved it. The pastries left something to be desired. I can't remember the name of the pastry my wife tried (maybe it was called an oat cake) but it tasted like nothing and had the consistency of a hockey puck made of sawdust. If that's the way it's supposed to be, then this is not a complaint - just a statement. I purchased a pumpkin turnover and found it to be crust, a lot of air, and just a touch of pumpkin filling. Not impressive. We will go back for the coffee but we will pass on the pastries.
