Uncle Pete's Gyros - Moline

First time eating here. Definitely won't be my last. Food was fast and delicious. Service was outstanding. My daughter said it was her new favorite grilled cheese.

Years ago, I dined at this restaurant and had a horrible experience. Recently, however, I decided to give it another try, and I was pleasantly surprised. The gyros are packed with flavor, and both the service and the clean atmosphere are definitely highlights. If you're seeking authentic gyros, this is the place to go!

I wanted to update my rating and share my experience from last Friday when I ordered takeout while waiting for new glasses. You truly do have the best gyros in the Quad Cities! I've been visiting Uncle Pete’s since 2006, but I didn’t realize I had ordered toasted pita this time. It’s been a while since my last visit, and I usually ask for extra meat, so my recent order might have felt less satisfying. I miss your gyros! Previously, I lived in the Rockford area for decades and frequently went to Uncle Nick’s Gyros downtown and later at the East State Street location. After moving to Morrison and starting a sales career in the Quad Cities, I discovered your gyros taste just as good as Uncle Nick’s in Rockford! Why? Because you’re family! I used to visit your place after the lunch rush to chat with your papa (God rest his soul). Back in 2006, your diner was located across from Jewel. Thank you for the tips on how to specify my orders in the future! I’m glad to hear that dine-in service has reopened. I look forward to seeing you all again soon. Thanks!
