Pay attention to different prices based on the menu you receive. We had a drink in the bar 30 minutes before our reservation and chose the wines we wanted. When we sat in the restaurant, we had both different menus and prices were different. Our server admitted that there were discrepancies and it would only charge us the lower amount. When the last review came, we were charged $80 for a bottle of wine listed at $62. $30 for 3 little scallops! Be very careful that you only pay for what you have ordered. We will not return. It may not seem so much, but think that they over fee $100 per ticket, because people do not review their bill. Shame on you. It was not the fault of the server, so I gave a cash tip, but the management/owners must get their act together and behave like a 4 or 5 star restaurant/hotel. P.S. Stop serving $19 a bottle of supermarket wines for $15 a glass. P.PS. There is really too much thing like too much garlic in your Amuse Bouche. PPPS. Crostini is raw bread. Your $10 appetizer with flabby bread and tasteless accompaniments was sub par
We visited a wine dinner on Thursday night. The atmosphere was amazing, very cool and elevated. Their presentation was very refined and they missed no single detail. Chef talked to everyone between the courses and we were very entertained. Our waitress Rachal was beyond charming and very funny. There were 6 courses served and each of them was amazing and delicious!
Couldn't get room. As a guest of the hotel and see that there were literally only 7 tables with 75% still open, we never dreamed that we would not sit. And the hotel staff told us earlier that we could just go for dinner. We went all day and look forward to a nice dinner and drinks. I had to go to the dining area before a hostess came by. She asked for a reservation and I said we had none. She said they would only take reservations, which is stupid if it was empty at 6:55 on Saturday. We went away and I have a reservation for 7:15 am by OpenTable. Around 7:10 I go back to the hostess, but this time I said they no longer take seats, regardless of a reservation that several major parties will come later and they could not control me, a reservation on OpenTable. After our dinner elsewhere we came back to go to our room and at 8:30 they had seats available. We'll eat breakfast in another restaurant because I'm sure I'm not ready to support it after the last night. I'd like to ask a manager to get me straight. The hostess could have been much more friendly and explained the situation better (but I still don't think they had room for us). As it was handled, but was pathetic.
Wow. We are staying at the Battle House hotel, which is where this is located. We walked to the server stand. The restaurant had many open tables. We were told it would be 30 minutes since we didn?t have a reservation. I walked out and made a reservation for 10 minutes later. We walked back to the host stand and was told there would still be a wait because they had 1 server and she had many tables. Just to be clear there are 4 tables taken in the entire restaurant. Strange that a hotel like this would have a restaurant that requires reservations and only have 1 server. Terrible hotel and terrible restaurant
