Scrambles Homestyle Grill - Mesquite

I only visited for breakfast and ordered a simple dish of over-easy eggs, biscuits, and gravy, along with a glass of tea. It took over twenty minutes to receive my meal, and there were only four couples in the restaurant, with one already eating. Unfortunately, my eggs were overcooked, the gravy tasted overly floury and lacked meat, and the biscuits were just okay. My tea was almost entirely sugar, and the waitress/cashier struggled with basic math while handling payment and tips. I won't be returning.

I ordered the cinnamon raisin French toast, which came with eggs and sausage links. My husband opted for the sausage gravy and biscuits, which were also topped with ham and shredded cheese. Overall, I would rate the food a 4 out of 5.

The food was mid but the cook needs to wear gloves while he is cooking instead of him grabbing all the food without gloves then the waiter shouldn’t have charged us gratuity when it was just 5 adults that consumed don’t know why she charged us for the baby when she didn’t eat or order anything from the menu. Overall service was bad. Do you catch my drift.??

I used to order pickup and delivery. But they just hang up on you when you call. The apps all make you schedule an order for next day. So sad, loved the food but it’s going downhill.

The food is good, but the older lady waitress sucks. We have been there about 10 times and had her 3 times, and next time we get her, I am asking for someone else. Tired of having to find her to get things that should be taken care of by her. The young lady .that is also there is on point. Update: I went back to this place to get some breakfast. Waited for 30 minutes for food, and it never came. This was by far the worst it's ever been. There were only 5 other tables that had people. Do yourself a favor and go to the Waffle House next door and get your food. After 30 minutes the cook still hadn't started cooking our food.
