I was blown away at the rustic/romantic decor that makes me feel like I've gone back in time. I suddenly feelundressed. To the back of the house in one of the dining/tea room areas that you can rent. There is a door leading you outsideto a gazebo. Many weddings and all types of parties have been held here. I had my mother's memorial luncheon done here lastspring 2022. Cindy (owner) and staff did an excellent job accommodating my customized requests. Food is so decadent. Melts inyour mouth. Merrillville Florist and Tea Room hosts a princess party. I celebrated my Bridal Shower at this restaurant in April and had an incredibly wonderful experience. The staff went out of their way to make my family and me feel special. The decorations were beautiful and the food was delicious. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be hosting more events here in the future!

The tea was delightful and the chicken was simply amazing. I would definitely return. I visited during the beautiful Christmas decorations and the pianist was fantastic!
