Good food, just wish we weren't forced to get soup with certain meals. I want a salad not soup, but you have to have soup. That's bs!! The owner is a big you know what, but the servers and food make up for his lack of friendliness.

They could really use a hostess up front, as they are quite busy at lunch time, and a lot of people don’t want to stand close to other people right now while waiting for a table. Food is excellent, and service quite good as well. The pizza is filling, and the crust will expand, so either aim low on your size, or plan on getting a box. I am a pizza hound from way back, and I could not come close to finishing a 12”. Lost the fifth star by offering me soup without mentioning the upcharge. The lemon rice soup was worth it, but I don’t like surprises.

I have had many delicious breakfasts at Maxim's. The meals are tasty, especially the Greek porkchops. The portions are big and a great value for the price. The service is good, and the restaurant is clean and comfortable.

Terrible service. Had the chicken gumbo soup and right on top was a big chicken bone. Our waitress said well at least you know it’s real chicken. Ordered the chicken Vesuvio and was told it would be 15 minutes. 20 minutes later they told us they screwed up and gave our food to someone else and we would have to wait another 20 minutes. I was so mad I just left. I do not recommend this place. The new people are not properly trained. The old waitress we had blamed everybody else, instead of taking responsibility. She had two tables and rather than keeping an eye on out for our food, she was busy yapping with the other waitresses. Bad management!!!
