Truffles - Melbourne

It is with a heavy heart that I am obligated to rate the Polish Patisserie and Cafe, Truffles two stars! Potentially harsh, but I feel it's warranted given

Nice and relaxed place, the chief/owner is very good at what he does, he even makes sure that all is good. Food looks and taste amazing.

I was there for authentic pierogi, it was inconspicuous. the pierogi were made frozen warming machine, the teig was thick and gooey. plus there was a long hair from the chef in my salad.

We ordered pierogies and the bark goulash and were really disappointed by the food. we watched the kitchen while they prepared our food and noticed that the staff opened a package of frozen bought pierogies to warm them up for us! I don't go to a restaurant to be served a packaged frozen food! They also had to defy the barkgulash, which was definitiw too fat, and we were left with a feeling of heavy and bad taste in our mouth. I also have to mention that I found a hair in my salad. sloppy service and mediocre eating. I am Polish by the way and that was unfortunately not good. experience for me. the prices are also high.
