A Salute - Matawan

We had 7:30 reservations and waited approx. 20 minutes to have a place on a table in the bar section. we waited another 15 minutes to see a server. in her defense, she also worked the cash, and she was very busy and tried her best to get herself. she was very pleasant and apologetic for the delays. our food delivery was very delayed for over 30 minutes, just to get our salads. when the food finally came, one of the meals was the wrong meal and the man who brings it disappeared. another waitress was blown down and she asked if we had ordered the muddles. Apparently our food was delivered to the wrong table. they continued to make the meals I think should have been made new, as they were now at least 5 minutes on each table and someone might have touched that, it did not seem right. the food proportions were small, except the salates that were very large. at the end of our meal our server was injured (I hope it is in order) and another server took over and it took a very long time for our check. the manager was present, but not very attentive or helpful for his employees who were obviously very busy trying to maintain the volume. the kitchen was very slow.

I was happy to see you. service was excellent, but do not enjoy sitting area in bar area mostly due to noise especially extremely loud music they played. most customers over 50 as we would probably agree, it was far too loud. eating was good and price money, but again, the noise level would prevent us from coming back or coming back to older people recommend our old.

Was our first time dining there. Was recommended by a friend. Absolutely fantastic staff, food. Was my daughter’s birthday great time. Waiter Greg was fantastic
