Your typical family run traditional taverna and grill. One of the oldest family run restaurants in the area (now 3rd generation) and with consistent quality throughout the years. Myself, family, friends from Greece and abroad have been coming here for decades. I stress on the fact that this is a traditional taverna meaning that there are set food options and the style of cooking is basic. The idea is to offer the customer clean, tasteful, healthy, and homely food, and not impress you with anything fancy or complicated. That is the charm and also the hardest part since most tavernas are all the same and hard to distinguish between. However this place has excellent fresh fish, very good meat , and all the dishes are flavorful and fresh, qualities that are hard to come across especially when sustained over decades. The service is knowledgeable, fast, polite, and professional, and with a good sense of humour. The kitchen and kitchen area are clean. Great sunsets and a carefree atmosphere (stuck in another era where time doesn't exist). You can spend 15 minutes to grab a souvlaki or portion of food for the beach or you can spend hours eating and talking. The TSIPOURO is a must try and the mezze portions are always generous! Very fast service! Steaks excellent, beers cold, as they should be. Very nice food for a restaurant next to the sea, where you usually pay for the view and not the quality of the food! 4 stars for the country salad which is a very small portion and overpowered the onion, and for the toilets which need cleaning and maybe some renovation. The sanitarium is sleeping. The toilets are between the kitchen area. The doors to the toilet are broken. The place is full of urine. I was disgusted. The view alone is not enough guys
