El Sombrero Mexican Grill - Macon

The chile rellenos are definitely my favorite! I enjoy them served with rice and refried beans. The cheese on top is just perfect! El Sombrero is the ideal spot to gather with friends and enjoy the finest Mexican cuisine in Macon.

The owner, management and staff went above and beyond for my group of 38 for a wedding rehearsal dinner. Not only did all of my guests get treated like royalty the food was delicious, hot and ready for us when we arrived. We all drove 5 hours to this wedding and rehearsal and had only discussed arrangements with the restaurant owner over the phone and through email. I truly appreciate the great food and hospitality. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a great meal.

This is the only place I will go to when I am craving Mexican food. It's an hour away from where I live but it's well worth the drive. The food is amazing, and the management and staff are very polite and helpful.

I love going to this El Somebro and I will recommend this location out of all in Macon. The salsa is to die for and the margaritas is amazing all other Mexican restaurant I've went to don't fix good margaritas, they be to weak for the price. There grilled shrimp has a great season as well

What I Love about Elsombrero is that they do not have meat in there beans. So this is a great place to eat if you are a vegetarian, or you do not like to eat pork. also they have wheat shells to offer, so you have a healthier choice. The service is great and the food is even better! Best salsa you'll ever find!
