Contribuiți la feedbackBreathtaking decoration. It's magical. Couscous served in a copper cauldron, in a friendly manner with as much delicacy as kindness. This evening with colleagues was transformed into a suspended moment of beauty and ambient warmth Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Extremely disappointing experience, not culinaryly, because my friend and I only stayed briefly, but humanly. Which in my opinion is even more important. We were in a context where time was limited and one with a relatively limited appetite. We explained it to the waitress (whom we don't blame at all), we suggested she have an imperial couscous for €25 for two. She returns a few moments later and explains to us, with kindness, that the boss refused, that the policy of the house is one place, one dish. We refuse, politely and with respect, for obvious reasons of waste and in contradiction with this notion of not being able to share. This is when the “boss” intervenes, who explains the “rule” to us, we explain our context to him again, and absolutely does not listen to us. That there are strict rules for the highway code, ok, but in a service context, where the human dimension is very present, a margin of flexibility and understanding is essential in my eyes. This gentleman doesn't care. He then invited me to go to Flunch, where sharing is possible. This contempt, this arrogance, this superior tone made me angry. While insisting, what's more, in the process with a second invitation to go eat a pizza. When a waiter at the bar gets involved and explains to me that at the cinema we don't take a seat for two, we hit rock bottom. We had ample means to take as many dishes each as we needed, we were humiliated, despised. This establishment operates on the code of extreme commercialism and deserves no consideration. Humans, in this world, must be the center of attention, otherwise why come together and be together. This gentleman's response to my friend's comment, who tried in vain to justify himself and limit the damage and impact of his comment, completes a total lack of humanity in this person because he takes absolutely no responsibility, everything is normal. to his eyes. Flexibility, listening, understanding, adaptation, appeal to me more than the word “politics” or “rules”. And the interaction with the young waitress was courteous and caring once again, because she did not look down on us. I would like to point out that we went to a Latin specialty restaurant next door which totally accepted our context and served us a dish to share with a big smile and without hesitation. Like what After inviting me to go to the flunch. I cordially invite this charming restaurateur to continue to raise money, because it is obviously very important to him. Don’t go down a path where sharing and people are at the center. You are not prepared for it. Service: Dine in Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
I will never set foot in this establishment again, which openly insults its customers. However, I had already eaten once at Soleil d'Agadir and appreciated its couscous. When booking to eat there again, I warned that we would be rushed and wouldn't eat much. For me, couscous is a traditional dish that is synonymous with sharing. My friend and I were craving 2 different types of meats and not hungry enough to order a couscous each. We don't like waste. So we thought we would share an imperial couscous, costing 25 euros. The boss refused to serve us, suggesting that we also have a second vegetarian couscous. With more time and hungry enough, why not, but it was just too much for us. To comply with the establishment's rules, I would have liked to have soup, but there was none on the menu. I don't like being forced to order food, only to throw it away... So we decided to cancel the order and go eat elsewhere, even if it meant coming back one day when we were hungry enough to eat a couscous each. But when the boss comes to our table, with his pants open, to lecture us and clearly wants to get into a very unpleasant fight with us, I found his attitude absolutely detestable! He made extremely derogatory comments that I do not wish to repeat here, treating us with arrogance and contempt. If he had not had this reaction, I would not have been motivated to write a negative comment and encourage people not to frequent this place. We went just around the corner to a Latin restaurant where we ate just what we wanted, and yes! We shared a dish without any problem. The boss made a stupid calculation, because he did. We ordered 2 vegetarian couscous for 15 euros, instead of 1 imperial couscous for 25 euros, it would have been... 5 euros! There, he lost 2 customers. Plus all our friends, plus everyone who will be influenced by this post. In my opinion, the boss of Le Soleil d Agadir insults the hospitality values of Morocco that I know and love. Twice I come to eat here and nothing to say is extra The couscous is extremely good to start (there is a kitchen bead I think! , the gentleman who serves us is super pleasant and helpful, the decoy unpacks us, the service is very fast it is great and if we have not finished, we can make a "real bag", what better? Really high!
