We Are Ara - Lille

Great interior, nice coffee and central location. The food was pretty good, a bit expensive but not too bad. We got the eggs with salmon and avocado and it was a straight forward meal that left us pretty satisfied. The staff was friendly and the service was fast, overall good experience.

This place benefits from being one of the few restaurants that open earlier. Since they do open early, they get very busy. That is why the service here is a bit slow and inconsistent. The staff were so busy that our order wasn't taken until 15 minutes after being seated. Also, our drinks were brought to us late...we were almost done with our meal when the drinks arrived. With that said, the food is good. Prices are a bit high for what you get, but you are in a very busy tourist area. On our visit, we ordered two eggs with salmon and avocado and the breakfast kit.

Breakfast till 12pm. Not the biggest portions, but very decent prices. In our experience, brunch in Lille is around 25 euros per person everywhere. So this is a great alternative if you aren't that hungry and only want to pay around 10 euros! Updated from previous review on 2023-07-07

Curry coco vegan delicious! Possible vegetable drinks, a pity that there are no Vegan desserts, but very welcoming staff!
