Firkin - Libertyville

I like the atmosphere. Food usually good. Today tried pork rice bowl. Meh. 20% gratuity automatically added, there were just 7 of us. Sigh.

Hidden German restaurant in Libertyville. It had a good selection of food and eating a better selection on beer! If you're out that way you must stop by. The eggnog cheesecake is to die for!

Firkin's menu is interesting and reasonably priced. But, this is a bar with food and the focus is on the bar. Great selection of craft beer and cocktails. However, the holiday decorations and lights hanging from the ceiling added to the vibe.

This restaurant is excellent. The food is delicious, especially the Spicy Spanish Pork Sandwich. The Belgian beer selection is incredible, especially what they have on draft. The atmosphere is super cool and the wait staff is friendly.

Beer selection is great but overpriced. Check out the teriyaki alfredo
