Another Broken Egg Cafe

The food was good, and I noticed that the drinks others were having looked amazing. The atmosphere had a nice vibe, making it a great spot for a girls' brunch. I just think that if you go around noon, service might be a bit slow depending on where you sit. While I may hesitate to return to this location at that time of day, I am willing to give it another chance and won’t hold it against the staff.

I brought my 3-pound registered service dog with me, and when some children at another table bothered my dog, it let out a small yap. The male manager on duty approached us and scolded me so harshly that my friends and I were completely taken aback. He implied that my dog wasn't a service animal without even checking its ID. I was so upset that I couldn't even respond. This place is a disgrace for anyone bringing their pets. On top of that, the food is mediocre and overpriced. There are far better options nearby. I visited on August 24, 2024.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant for Sunday brunch. Tina was wonderful with my two kids and was very attentive to my gluten allergy. Their gluten-free menu offers a variety of options, but it’s important to note that they're gluten-friendly rather than strictly gluten-free. Tina took the initiative to check with the kitchen manager to ensure that my shrimp and grits were safe for me to eat, and I can confidently say it was DELICIOUS. (Also, as an update: it's been enough time since my meal, and I can confirm that I did not have any issues with gluten, so they clearly managed my order well on the back end.) My kids were entertained with colored pencils, and Tina frequently returned to check on our coffee refills. I will definitely be back next time we're in town! For those with dietary restrictions: there's a gluten-friendly menu available that simplifies the ordering process. Keep in mind that it's a shared kitchen, so they can't guarantee completely risk-free food, but I informed them about my celiac allergy and I'm pleased to say that I experienced no unpleasant surprises the following day.

Ted is a wonderful server. He always happily takes our orders even when we want to personalize a menu item a bit. It is clear that it is important that his customers’ satisfaction is important to him. His service is quick and professional but he never rushes us.
