Perola do Oceano - Lagoa

We had lunch and we had fish, heavy fish and the cash! the it was very good, we had not wanted so long and the prive was normal!

We stumbled on this place one night and were so hungry that we decided to eat, as there was nothing else. it was a very quiet place that felt it a little unpleasant and it seemed to run only from one dame... (which could not speak English) so we had some problems with communication! it offered bark meat steak so that we agreed on how the menu could not read! it was pretty and the dame that seemed beautiful, but was an interesting' eating experience. not one that I would definitely recommend!

O restaurante e a respectiva dona justificam, por si só, uma visita a Água de Pau. Aconselha-se reserva. Os lombinhos estavam bons, diferentes do paladar habitual. Boa tarte de feijão. Belíssima anfitriã, a D. Georgina. Não esquecer o "Rodolfo". Eriça-se um pouco mas é simpático.

Bei Eintritt waren wir die einzigen Gäste und die Besitzerin wirkte zunächst etwas reserviert. Als ältere Dame scheint sie das Restaurant mehr aus Gewohnheit weiter zu führen. Bei der Bestellung war sie dann sehr warmherzig und freundlich. Ambiente kann man als Retrostyle bezeichnen, hier wurde seit 25 Jahren wohl nichts verändert was den Charme des Hauses ausmacht. Das Essen war einfach aber ausgezeichnet (Fisch und Zicklein laut Karte), vorab ohne bestellt zu haben warme Brötchen und Käse.... yummy. Das Problem mit den Wasserflecken auf den Gläsern kann man umgehen wenn man (Flaschen-) Bier bestellt.Fazit: Ein ungewöhnlicher Restaurantbesuch mit besonderem Charme und bei allem Argwohn zu Beginn erstaunlich gutem Essen... belohnt wird man mit dem Gefühl bei Oma gegessen zu haben.

Ci siamo arrivati solo grazie alla guida turistica che lo citava tra i ristoranti di Agua de Pau. Non l'avremmo mai trovato perché il posto era semplicemente spento!! Ci ha accolto la gentilissima proprietaria del locale che, in una surreale conversazione in portoghese, ci ha spiegato che cosa avremmo mangiato. E ce la siamo cavata con 2 piatti di pesce e verdure, ben preparati e curati. Il prezzo era ragionevolissimo.Un paio di punti in meno perché anche l'occhio vuole la sua parte e, nel momento in cui siamo entrati, l'impressione è stata davvero pessima! Ma per fortuna siamo rimasti!
