Restaurante Cervejaria O Carlos - Lagoa

Had lunch here while on tour. Basic but good. Many locals from the village around. Tuna was good, pork stew as well. Nice surprise.

Good food and very reasonable prices. Our server worked hard to accommodate our preferences and we were very satisfied every time we dined at O Carlos. Don’t be put off by first impressions! They have a lovely dining room and a menu that serves everything from snacks to full meals. A very popular spot with the locals, Definitely worth checking out for an authentic Lagoan experience. Menus available in French, English and Portuguese.

Had casual dinner in the courtyard with a small group. Small but varied selection of local dishes that got good reviews. Some local desserts and good coffee. House wine (red/tinto) was good. Parking is behind the Snack Bar entrance on the street. The restaurant part is in the back while the small bar is facing the street.

Dined here as part of a tour with Hugo at Green Vision Tours. Food was incredible, cod baked potatoes were the best! By far our best excursion and meal on this transatlantic.
