Slice Pizzeria - KILL DEVIL HILLS

This is an excellent spot for a quick slice or a whole pizza. We tried a slice of cheese and a slice of Supreme, accompanied by a glass of root beer. The crust was nice and crispy, with a hint of Italian flavor, perfectly balanced with the right amount of sauce and a wonderful stretch of cheese. I haven’t had white pizza in over 15 years, so I couldn’t resist getting a whole 14-inch pie to take home. I will definitely return the next time I’m in the area. Thank you!

The delivery driver was really friendly, and the online ordering process was super simple and easy! The pizza arrived hot and packed with flavor. I also appreciated the half-and-half option, which is perfect for when you and others prefer different toppings.

The establishment was clean and welcoming. They have a computer in the lobby where you can browse the specials and place orders at your convenience. The food is decent, but it lacks a wow factor. I wouldn't recommend the garlic knots; they were very bland and just tasted like cooked dough. I would give them 2 stars. While they were soft, they didn’t have a garlicky flavor. The pizza, on the other hand, deserves 3.5 stars. We ordered the margherita pizza, which had a good taste. It was fluffy and large enough to easily satisfy two adults and two kids. There is no seating inside, but they do offer a clean and inviting outdoor dining area. They also send you a text when your pizza is ready for pickup.

We enjoyed our first visit so much that we returned just three days later. The crust is fantastic! During our first visit, we tried the natural gourmet and deep dish cheese slices, and on our second visit, we opted for the natural gourmet and margarita slices. Keep in mind that there is no indoor seating; dining means eating outside under sturdy tents that provide good shade from the sun. Both times, we experienced a lovely breeze, making the outdoor dining pleasant.

I want to start by highlighting that Slice Pizzeria is one of the few pizza places in OBX that offers VEGAN CHEESE. They should definitely promote this more on their website and menu, as people will travel a long way for a delicious vegan cheese pizza. The staff were friendly, and the pizza was hot and crispy. Slice has a great variety of options, including deep dish, traditional, and grandma style pizzas. My favorites were the Supreme and Meat Lovers.
