Dare Devil's Pizzeria

The restaurant is conveniently located near the beach. The service was fast and efficient, with our orders being brought to us quickly. The mozzarella sticks and wings were tasty, but the pizza left much to be desired. It was overly chewy, lacking in crispiness, and had hard cheese. If Dave Portnoy were to review it, he'd likely give it a 5.7 rating. Overall, while the other menu items were enjoyable, the pizza fell short of expectations for a pizza place.

During the off-season, this restaurant operates more as a self-service establishment. I have visited twice and both times I have ordered the small pie, which is enough to serve two people. The first time, I tried the meat lovers pie and it was fantastic. The second time, my wife and I ordered an Italian sausage and mushroom pizza, which was also delicious. Drinks are served in cans and bottles, but they will provide a glass with ice if requested.

I ordered a large pepperoni pizza from Dare Devil's Pizzeria last night (10-22-22). I have dined there numerous times throughout the year and over the years, most recently just last month. I have always enjoyed their pizzas which I found to be very good. However, last night was a different story - it was terrible! The crust was like a half-cooked piece of frozen, pre-made cardboard. It was tough, chewy, and tasted awful. Even frozen, home oven-baked pizza would have been better. I am unsure if I will ever return again. I left feeling extremely disappointed.

Great location right on beach road and open at 11 most days so it?s a good lunch pizza option. Not a ton of seating if it gets busy. Pizza is mediocre standard but has good variety. Staff was friendly and good came out pretty quickly

Very friendly service. We ate in (family of 4) and the food turned up quickly despite the place being pretty busy. My beer was REALLY cold too, which was great. There seemed to be a lot of people in this evening who have been returning here year afteryear which was great to see. The food was good value in terms of portion sizes. I've definitely had better pizza (I'm more of athin crust, or sourdough person), but there's nothing much wrong with Dare Devil's.
