Me and my spouse both got the chicken burger and it was grand. We finished of with some delicious coffee's. Atmosphere was lovely.

Had lunch and drinks in the snug with friends. Had drinks and ordered some light bites for the table. Staff were on the hall, constantly coming by the table to check if we needed anything else. Onion rings were amazing, fabulous light batter. In fairness everything we ordered was excellent.

We recently stopped by Bollards for a family lunch with our 4 children. We have 3 fussy eaters due to sensory issues and each of their needs were met by the chef. The taco burger I had was out of this world by far the best iv ever had, my partner had the cowder and loved it. The boys had the chicken goujons with mash and beans in separate container because of sensory issues and they were beautiful real fresh chicken. The toddler was catered to with his chip sandwich and ate it all. We had an apple pie, 3 chocolate fudge cakes and a baileys cheese cake and the staff arranged a bowl of ice cream with sauce and sprinkles for the toddler they were divine (I know because I tried a piece of each) the staff were very friendly and great with the kids we had a really lovely family meal and will definitely be making this gem in the heart of the city a regular treat!

Stopped here today 15/10/22 for lunch. The pub itself was lovely very quaint old Irish style pub. We were not having a drink so went into the snug style area for our lunch this area had a couple of booths which was cosy. Three of us for lunch on person special needs so he was delighted to have a treat. The staff members were attentive and brough us our menus and gave us the specials for today these were a beef and Guinness casserole, or Turkey. The menu was simple choice of one vegetarian option a medley of veg, the other options were spaghetti bolognaise, chicken burger, fish and chicken goujons plus a kid's menus. My husband and son both ordered the spaghetti bolognaise and I ordered the turkey. the food came after 15 minutes my son loves spaghetti as it easy to eat, my husband started to eat his spaghetti and I asked how it was he said it was full of water and absolutely no flavour and the garlic bread that came with it was soaked with the water he couldn't eat the food. My turkey dinner was just terrible, the mashes potatoes were all stodge, they had gone in the water and were mashed like that with no seasoning at all just a sprinkle of dry parsley. It came with a herb stuffing the stuffing while it was warm it was not cooked the onions were still crunchy in the stuffing. The veg carrot and cabbage again no seasoning the turkey was ok, but you'd cook better yourself, the gravy was from a packet and the only thing that had any kind of flavour. The cost of the lunch was €34.00 that included on coke. The person cooking the food should sack him or herself. Would not return again.

Had such a brilliant experience in bollards, food fantastic, staff amazing service especially Keith and Alison and Damien for keeping us entertained,, we will be definitely back.
