Cafe La Coco - Kilkenny

This is a very special place and experience. Everyone is on point with their service and attendance to your every need. And the food quality is beautiful and made full of love. We were lucky to get a table at any time. I would recommend a booking to ensure you get a seat in this busy space. I am always impressed here. Thank you to a great team.

Cute cafe with a small selection of food options and pastries. I came in because I wanted something quick since I was on a day tour from Dublin. I got the Hey Avo sandwich, which was quite good. Service was a bit slow (surprising for a small spot) and after 10 minutes, I had to go up to the counter to tell them I was ready to pay. I was going to order a coffee and dessert but figured that would probably take another half-hour, which I didn’t have (normally I wouldn’t mind it). The poor lady at the table in front of me waited more than 20 minutes for her sandwich and she was visibly frustrated. Overall, I liked the food and cute ambiance. Speed of service could be improved.

My favourite coffee restaurant in Kilkenny by far. The atmosphere invites you to spend hours and hours inside and the food is excellent!!!! They have the perfect menu for brunch with sandwiches, pancakes, superfood salad and avocado toast (my favourite one). There are also plenty coffee options from regular coffees such as cappuccino, lates, americanos to Turmeric or Matcha, and lovely smoothies. Coffee offer includes soya and other alternative milks. The service is very good as staff is nice and sound. Right in the heart of the city centre, it is the perfect place to stop while enjoying this beautiful town and its historical sightseeing. Lastly, the homemade sweet treats are from another world: cheesecake, chocolate cake, scones, muffins, brownies etc. Trust me on this one, when you come to Kilkenny pop in and let the smells and flavours of Cafe la Coco to win you over.

Charming café offering delectable meals and desserts! We tried the superfood salad and the rhubarb and lemon pie, both of which were excellently prepared and healthy!
