Moondog Cafe - Key West

This was our first time visiting ?Key West?and we found this little place along Whitehead Street... It seemed to be a pretty popular place because there was a lot of people there eating...There was no room for us to sit inside so we chose to sit outside and eat..it is connected to the cafe..with painted walls that are colorful...and fans offer a nice breeze...along with some plants to make the setting comfortable while you eat..The setting was beautiful inside and out... I had those smoked salmon Benedict with a side of potatoes and Cajun shrimp? it was warm and delicious the food was excellent at a reasonable price for?Key West Florida?the service was good as well with only about 10-15 min wait on our food...If you visit make sure you try the key lime pie there...It was the first time trying real key lime pie for me and it was so delicious.

One of the best yet! Actually happy we waited for the last day to eat here, or else we would not have ventured anywhere else. Great vegan offerings and so vegan friendly. Desserts were amazing. Easy to get a breakfast/brunch at 2p. My BLAT with green Goddess dresssing was AMAZING. It's a win all the way around. And kinda nice that it was a street off Duval... Not loud and smelly and all that. Clean, great service, and you must leave room for the pastry and desserts.

We stopped in for a quite afternoon bite to try their key lime pie. We heard it was one of the best in Key West and we would have to agree! Absolutely delicious! Loved the vibe of the cafe and the mural was beautiful!Food: 5/5

Went for brunch and it was so delicious that we came for dinner. Amazing food and service. We had Marisa as a server and she was amazing. We traveled with our dog and there was a cute and shaded patio for us to sit with fans. So many vegetarian and vegan options. We can't wait to come back.Food: 5/5

Great breakfast with some unique entrees. Service was great, they were happy to see us and they tried hard to accommodate all requests.
