Dr. Getwell's - Keokuk

Waitress recommended the ribeye sandwich. It was horrible. Don't know how you could serve the piece steak without trimming off the huge amounts of fat. It could have been a fat sandwich. Might not have been bad on a plate but not slapped in a nice bun.

Hubby had ribeye sandwich, not the best. Was big but wasn't really a very good cut of meat. I had the Cajun chicken sandwich with pepper jack, it was pretty good. The side salad was fresh and yummy!

Very friendly staff, just passing through but they made our whole day better. Buy the cooks a drink! Seemed LGBTQ+ friendly too, everyone was super welcoming

I have yet to be able to understand how this place could have good reviews, we are staying the week in Keokuk and throughout our hotel there are advertisment after advertisement about this restaurant and that they deliver to the hotel, when we called to tryand place an order, I was informed by the hostess that she had worked there for over a year and has never heard of the placedelivering to anybody. We accepted that and decided we'd try some place else that would deliver. Since we decided that we neededto get a few items from the store, we thought that we'd give the place another chance, since we had the dogs with us, wecouldn't go to a sit down, we needed to get anything we ordered to go. So I called up Dr. Getwell's again to place a to go orderlike all their advertisements claim to have, once again, I was told we were out of luck because as the hostess put it so rudely,they were to busy to deal with to go orders that unless we came in and sat down to eat there was nothing they could do. I getbeing busy and I get having a few outdated ads in a hotel, but come on, when all your ads posted state that you are rated thebest in multiple food categories and that you offer dine-in, carryout, and delivery, then some accomodations need to be made.Either get some ads removed, corrected or don't be so boastful about your service when neither is able to be performed orchallenged.

Great food, drinks, owners and staff. Absolutely great quality prices and environment.
