Federal Jack's - KENNEBUNK

We experienced the flavors of Maine at this restaurant. Unfortunately, the food was not up to par. The establishment was not well-maintained, with a dirty atmosphere and a gross bathroom. It was evident from the start when my arm stuck to the table. There were several things in need of repair, such as a dangling wire below the handrail. It may be time to search for a new general manager.

I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious sweet potato burger at this restaurant, which is known for its seafood and meat dishes. They also offer an impossible burger and other menu items that can likely be made vegan. While not everything is exceptional, the food is overall quite good.

I had several options to choose from, but unfortunately not many were vegan. The waitress was very knowledgeable and helpful. Most of the items listed as vegan could be easily adjusted. I tried the Brussels sprout salad, which was delicious. I highly recommend it! Next time, I'm looking forward to trying the buffalo "chicken" sandwich.

Our waitress did not check in on us regarding our meals, and only offered to remove the extra charge for the fries after we complained. However, this gesture was not enough given the poor quality of our meal. Overall, it was a disappointing dining experience that did not justify the high cost. We were only satisfied with the drinks we ordered. We do not plan on returning to this restaurant in the future.
