On The Marsh Bistro - KENNEBUNK

Eating lacked taste, but was not insulting. avoid the meat and cheese plate - the articles there seem like precut cheese from the food business with cold cut meat (not high end) portions were very small for the price. piano player was very good. server were friendly. very recommended for drinks at the bar, but was not impressed by eating. bummer.

Colby was great, one of the best dinners we had. will return.

Did not live up to the expectations or standards. Have previously dined here and had an excellent experience but not the case this time. I understand it was Valentine's weekend but the restaurant was not full and the fact that you had to put a $50 deposit with your reservation would have on thinking the restaurant knew the number of covers for the night. The service was very poor. Very disorganized and no clear direction. The food was okay mostly because by the time it arrived it was warm at best. Don't think I will return as there are many great restaurants in the area. This is disappointing as I have recommended several people to this restaurant.

This is a beautiful spot. Unfortunately, the service was extremely poor. Long wait to be acknowledged, longer time to get the meal. Main course delivered shortly after appetizer, which we hadn't had time to finish. Never checked back to see how things were. Basically ignored, except the friendly person pouring water. The food was just ok. Nothing that would bring us back.

We have been frequenting this restaurant for many many years and have always enjoyed everything about it. We have known a few of the managers and the great bartenders throughout the years. Tonight we took four of our neighbors to dinner for a celebration. It was Valentines weekend and so I I called to make a reservation to sit at the bar. Unbeknownst to us when we sat down I asked for the bar menu and they told me because it was Valentines weekend they were not offering bar menu due to the holiday weekend. Don’t you think when I asked to be sat at the bar that the person who confirmed the reservation would have informed us that due to the holiday weekend the bar menu would not be offered.
