Delicious local cuisine! We came here after visiting Kilauea Point, and I really enjoyed the teriyaki beef sandwich and the banana bread I got. I’ve had pricier meals on Kauai, but nothing compared to this. The little dirt road leading to it is short, so make sure to keep an eye out!

Best Saimin on Kauai! Seriously. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. I found it even better than some of the more highly-rated saimin spots that I was really looking forward to visiting. My only regret is that I only went once. The cake is amazing too! Make sure to try the Char Siu Saimin and the banana cream cake—they are both irresistible!

Yum yum Ono food! Excellent menu and desserts are a must! The owner/chef takes great pride in his work! Don't miss out on this hidden gem???!!!

I enjoyed the Saimin, it was delicious. However, I was disappointed with the Kalbi ribs plate, which cost $23. The ribs were tough to chew, and the sauce was overly thick and rich, almost like tar. Given the high price, I expected a much better quality, but the portion was small and it just didn't meet my expectations at all.
