Shave Ice Paradise - HANALEI

Messed up order. Put wrong flavor in. The girl preparing the shave ice was flirting with her boyfriend and not paying attention. Zero coconut, zero ube. We paid for three flavors $1.50 extra per flavor). She got mad when we pointed out the order was wrong. Fixed it by scraping off blueberry and putting a drop each of the other flavors. Didn 't add more shave ice. Ended up being even smaller than the kids size and cost $6 more. There are other shave ice options around.

Good place to pick up refreshing icy snack for the drive back.

Ran into this place driving to the north side of the island. I saw the sign for the mac nut milk shake and I couldn't resist not trying it out. I'm so glad I did! The milk shake was so creamy and thick. The only thing about this place was the employees behind the counter. It seemed like I had distracted them by coming up to the counter and ordering. Otherwise I did enjoy my milk shake.

Way too much syrup. Flavors tasted very artificial. Ice cream was good. Jojo’s across the street was MUCH better.
