Bluff Park Ice Cream Shoppe - Hoover

I had a great experience at this ice cream shop! The portions were generous, and the staff was incredibly attentive and polite, which I really appreciated. I loved the flavor I tried called "Tired Mother" (or something similar)! The coffee ice cream with chocolate pieces was absolutely amazing!

The ice cream is delicious, but you need to ensure they are open to enjoy it. On March 4, 2023, at 1:48 PM, the place was still closed, and at least 20 people came and left. I would recommend calling ahead before visiting. This will be our last time coming here since this isn't the first instance we've faced this issue.

First of all, the place has a funky vibe. There were quite a few little ones in diapers around (not entirely sure). Secondly, make sure to bring a hefty wallet. A single scoop in a cup and a single scoop in a waffle cone cost me $16.00?! This was my first and last visit.

Before the booked closing time pulled up from 6pm. The door was locked. The staff ignored us.

Came here for the first time on October 2, 2022 during a birthday weekend trip. Craved their unique flavors ever since. Now I stop by every time I drive through Birmingham. So delicious and it comes with a reusable spoon!
