Saw's BBQ - Homewood

My husband and I were in many BBQ restaurants and haven't found anyone we really like. Saw makes our BBQ dreams come true! I had the pulled pork plate w/ Mac n cheese and Coleslaw. The pig was so moist and tender and the best I had since life in Alabama. The Mac n cheese tasted like real and homemade cheese. So much texture and gooeyness. The Coleslaw has a great taste. My husband ordered the chicken plate w/ Mac n cheese and potato salad. I tried the chicken and again so moist and tender. We also ordered a chili baker we shared. We split it in half because it was so big and full. Now we have leftovers for dinner because we couldn't finish our entrees. We took everything to go and the service was fast. Thanks for my birthday!

I decided at this point a few times before me to stop here on Thursday afternoon 4/28, The menu is simple and I did not see the sampler that someone else mentioned in a previous review. I chose the smoked chicken sandwich with the white BBQ sauce and paired it with a UFO Georgia peach beer. I skipped the combo because the beer doesn't count as a combo, but I think it should. They have a limited selection of beer and there are wells available drinks with ice tea. The parking lot is tricky, as the street Oxmoor is very busy and keeping away from the parking spaces on the traffic takes patience. I need to find out what location the sampler has, because I really want to try it together with the deviled eggs by-law.

Drove here of GA to have the chicken with the white sauce and not disappointed. Ordered the sampler of the saw EVERYTHING WAS GOOOD!!! We sat down the legendary white sauce. My children loved the ribs so much that we added half a plate....

I went to a tasteful southern wonderland. The staff is very friendly. The food is tasteful and delicious. I suggest the banana pudding. Great location, lots of parking and fast service.

Some of the best pulled pork I've ever had with a vinegar sauce that ain't too hot, nor too sweet... In my top 3 BBQ places of Bham.
