Everyone has a phone but not everyone, especially older people don't understand the QRC technology. I had to place and pay for the meals for my group because the others couldn't figure out the system. The food was good but not served as I expected. I ordered a gyro sandwich plate. Expecting a gyro, instead I got a plate withe ingredients for a gyro with the pita bread cut into small wedges so it was more like I had to make tiny gyro snack sandwiches or pita dip.
We had a girls reunion and ended up staying here for hours. Such a charming place with excellent food. A big thank you to Mr.Duck for being so kind and hospitable and allowing us to spend hours there, so us girls could catch up in our ole stomping grounds.
Used to be my go to place, but was disappointed in revisiting after a few years. The goat cheese salad was dismal even after adding “extra goat cheese,” it came with barely any cheese and with cold, sad precooked grilled chicken. The lettuce was also wilted and unfortunate. Need more photos on their menu, which is awkwardly digital now and not the best. Could make an effort to offer more gluten free options as well.
I ordered the spanakopita (spinach pie). There just wasn't much flavor. No feta or sauce to speak of. The spinach was okay, just lacking. The atmosphere is good, quaint and the place clean overall.
Fresh food, charming atmosphere! Urban eats combined with traditional recipes 2 cooking nerds Delightful Dining Experience for their customers. (We also noticed on-the-grill training for two up and coming teen chefs. Kudos to a great team of servers, cleaner-uppers, and chefs.
