Pat's Taqueria - HANALEI

The best fish taco my husband and I had on our trip! We wish we had ordered more. The flavor of the fish, combined with the cabbage and mango salsa, was fantastic. All in all, it was a great experience!

The tacos were absolutely delicious! We sampled the fish and pork varieties, while my daughter particularly enjoyed the bean and cheese burrito. Just a heads-up: the pork taco had melted shredded cheese, and the fish taco came with aioli, which contains egg. I didn't think to ask about this beforehand and only realized it while enjoying the meal, so I wanted to mention it for anyone with allergies to eggs or dairy. Overall, I highly recommend this place! Just a note that they only accept cash, but Venmo is also an option!

We had a fantastic dining experience here, especially after several attempts to try it out during our exploration of the best fish tacos in Kauai. On our final day, we finally made it, and this place did not disappoint. The fresh mango salsa and diverse menu options really gave it a special vibe. There’s even a small area for worship on the premises, although their business hours can be a bit unpredictable. The portion sizes were on the smaller side, so we ordered a variety of dishes to sample everything. Pat, our server, probably wondered why we were taking so many pictures and asking so many questions, but he was very friendly and accommodating. Overall, this spot definitely deserves two thumbs up!

I loved the food here. Hit the spot. Especially rice and beans were super delicious.
